Humpback whale killing

The humpback whale is not hunted in Greenland. In August 2005 a humpback entangled in fishing gear were seen off of Nuuk.
The whale was injured from the gear so it was decided that the animal should be killed. The whale was shot with harpoon and shared between the citizens of Nuuk.
